How does the Tesco Scheme work?
All the experiences listed on this website (Introduction to Sailing, Ocean Race Yacht Experience, Round the Island Day aboard Clipper 60 Taeping and the Family Taster Sail) can be purchased in full or part using Tesco Reward Tokens.
Do I need to pay in full using Tesco Reward Tokens?
No - if you do not have enough Tesco Reward Tokens, you can pay the remaining balance by cheque or credit/debit card. Details on making the payment are included on the booking form.
Do we have to book for a specific date, or can we buy a gift voucher?
It is possible to buy a gift voucher, which is open dated and valid for 6 month of sailing season for the Introduction to Sailing and the Ocean Race Yacht Experience. The voucher is sent in a presentation tin. The presentation gift tins are made from metal and included inside is the gift voucher in a presentation card, a leaflet including more information on the experience and how to redeem the voucher.
Where do the boats sail from?
All our experience days start and finish in Hamble Yacht Services Marina, 15 minuites by car from central Southampton.
How do we make a booking?
On each of the experience pages there is a list of availability and an option to make a reservation. Once you have made a reservation you will be sent a booking form (by email or post) to be completed and returned with your Tesco Reward Tokens. You have 14 days in which to return this booking form with the Tesco Reward Tokens before the reservation expires. For those trip with the option to buy an open dated gift voucher, there is an order now button to request an order form.
